Claims Analyst (Digital Content & Rights Management)

Job Description:
Are you someone who understands how digital content works and loves protecting creative work? In this role, you’ll help safeguard our company’s and clients’ videos and channels from being used without permission. You’ll monitor platforms like YouTube and other social media to detect copyright violations, raise claims, manage disputes, and help resolve issues to ensure our digital content is protected and monetized properly.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor YouTube and other digital platforms for unauthorized use of videos, songs, or other copyrighted content.
- Take action by blocking, monetizing, or taking down videos that violate copyrights.
- Handle disputes when others claim ownership of our content — and make sure the right party gets credit.
- File DMCA takedown requests to remove copied content from platforms.
- Coordinate with YouTube teams for issues like:
- Channel suspension
- Monetization problems
- Channel verification or play buttons
- Add or remove YouTube channels from our company’s partner network.
- Assign access/permissions to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain login credentials and ensure content safety across all partner channels.
- Work closely with content, SEO, and design teams to address queries and help them avoid copyright issues.
- Guide clients and internal teams on proper content usage, digital rights, and monetization opportunities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Increase in monetized videos
- Reduction in copyright violations
- Number of videos successfully claimed
- Number of disputes resolved positively
Skills Required:
- Good understanding of YouTube, copyrights, and digital content ownership
- Hands-on experience with YouTube Studio, Content ID, and DMCA tools
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content workflows
- YouTube Certification is an added advantage
