Job Description:

Do you have a sharp eye for detail and a love for language? At Mango Mass Media Pvt Ltd, we are looking for a Subtitling Executive to support our growing content operations. In this role, you’ll help bring our media content to a global audience by creating accurate and well-synced subtitles in English and Telugu. Responsibilities:

• Create and edit subtitles for various types of video content (films, shows, interviews, etc.)
• Ensure proper synchronization of subtitles with audio and visual cues
• Proofread subtitles for grammar, spelling, and contextual accuracy
• Use subtitling software/tools to format and finalize subtitle files
• Work collaboratively with content and post-production teams to meet deadlines
• Maintain subtitle quality and consistency across all projects

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Timely delivery of subtitle files
• Accuracy of translations and grammar
• Synchronization quality
• Internal review quality scores
• Reduction in subtitle revision cycles

Skills Required:

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in English  (written and verbal)
• Basic understanding of subtitling standards and formatting
• Strong attention to detail and grammar accuracy
• Good time management and organizational skills

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with subtitling software (e.g., Subtitle Edit, Aegisub, EZTitles, etc.)
• Experience in media or entertainment projects
• Interest in movies, TV, and OTT content

Soft Skills:

• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Quick learner and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with a commitment to quality
